In July this year my wife and I set out on what was billed by Saga as ?An Impressionist Cruise? on the river bSeine/b. After an uneventful journey to Paris by Eurostar, we were coached to St.Mammes where we were to pick up our boat the converted b.../b After lunch we went by coach to Bougival, Marly-le-Roi, Louveciennes and finally bPort/b Marly. In all these places we were able to see exactly where some of the most famous paintings by Sisley, Pissarro and Monet were painted from. b.../b
